Table Mountain Guided Hike

Cape Town

Activity Description

Experience a guided hike up Table Mountain, one of the 7 Wonders of the World .
See Cape town from a different perspective and learn more about the history and the many cultures which forms a part of it.

On the way we’ll learn more about the “Fynbos” plant family and its diversity and have a look at some of Table Mountains surrounding peaks and their unique names.
Follow with us in the footsteps as so many before and hear more about the stories this mountain holds.

We will meet at the Table Mountain Lower Cable Station and have a quick check in for the days proceedings. Before we start there will be a safety briefing and overview of the hike so everyone is prepared for what is to come.

As soon as everyone is ready we’ll set off on the hike. Normally the first section feels steep as we ease into a comfortable hiking pace. Once we reach the contour path we’ll have our first water break, from here the view only gets better.

We might find some sections which can feel high and exposed but that is what we are qualified and trained for, to help coach you over the obstacle.
As we hike we will have more chance to talk about Cape Town and South Africa, it’s beautiful people with all the bright cultures.

From the top well have 360 degree views of the full Cape Town and its surroundings.
We will end the hike off on the very top of the mountain at the Upper Cable Station.
